Apprentice diesel mechanic

As an apprentice diesel technology or assembly mechanic, you will learn the trade with us in practice. You will help maintain, repair, and assemble diesel engines, generators, and installations. Together with experienced mechanics, you will work on real projects and develop your technical skills step by step.

What will you do

• You will learn the ins and outs of the trade under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
• You will perform maintenance on Caterpillar engines in the maritime and industrial sectors.
• You will assist with various tasks, such as replacing water pumps, troubleshooting, and overhauling engines.
• You will learn to advise customers on the use and maintenance of their engines.
• Or you will work with us in the workshop and work on our own hybrid/electric installations.
• You will work on building battery packs, control cabinets, mechanical components, and assembling them for installation in an industrial machine.

What do we expect from you

• Preferably an MBO BBL education in Mechanical Engineering, Internal Combustion Engine Technology, and/or Diesel Technology;
  • Level 2, 3, or 4 are all possible.
• You are motivated and eager to learn;
• You have an interest in technology;
• You can work independently and are also a team player;
• Working abroad is possible if you are interested.
• Good command of the Dutch language (speaking and reading)*.
