Leerling diesel monteur

As an Apprentice Mechanic in diesel technology or assembly, you will learn the trade hands-on in practice. You will assist with the maintenance, repair, and assembly of diesel engines, generators, and installations. Together with experienced mechanics, you will work on real projects and step by step develop your technical skills.

What will you do?

• Learn the tricks of the trade under the guidance of experienced mechanics.

• Carry out maintenance on Caterpillar engines in the maritime and industrial sectors.

• Assist with various tasks, such as replacing water pumps, troubleshooting, and overhauling engines.

• Learn how to advise customers on the use and maintenance of their engines.

• Work in our workshop on our own hybrid and electric installations.

• Contribute to building battery packs, control cabinets, mechanical components, and assembling them into industrial machines.

What do we expect from you?

• Preferably enrolled in an MBO BBL program in Mechanical Engineering, Internal Combustion Engines, and/or Diesel Technology.

• Level 2, 3, or 4 is all possible.

• Motivated and eager to learn.

• Strong interest in technology.

• Able to work independently, but also a good team player.

• Willingness to work abroad is possible if you are interested.
